The Witcher: Season 2 Music By Joseph Trapanese

Based on the Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy books, the notorious show The Witcher returns for a second season on Netflix. Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as “the Continent”, The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and Princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny. Starring Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra, the story follows Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than monsters and beasts.

The stakes are higher than ever in this second season with an all new epic soundtrack by Joseph Trapanese. The powerful and ominous score features three additional vocal tracks by Joey Batey, who plays Jaskier in the series. Batey also performed the viral song “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher” from the first season of the show. 

This album follows the outstanding success of the soundtrack to the first season, which broke Billboard charts, rock & pop charts, and got critical praise from media outlets such as: NPR, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and Variety.
