The Lighthouse Music By Mark Korven
From Robert Eggers, the visionary filmmaker behind modern horror masterpiece The Witch, The Lighthouse is an hypnotic and hallucinatory tale of two lighthouse keepers on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s. Starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, this black and white visual fest is a unique exploration of two isolated men falling into madness.
Robert Eggers reunited with composer Mark Korven after their successful collaboration on The Witch. The score to The Lighthouse is a threatening and hypnotic score driven by the repetitive sound of the fog-horns.
A24 is releasing The Lighthouse in theaters on 10/18/1019
