Ten Percent
Based on the massively popular French comedy-drama Call My Agent!, comes the English adaptation titled Ten Percent that is now playing on Prime Video in the UK and Sundance Now and AMC Plus in the U.S.
Ten Percent takes place at a London-based talent agency where we see agents scrambling to keep their A-list clients happy.
This new comedy series by BAFTA-award winner John Morton (Twenty Twelve, W1A) and features a star-studded cast including Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Maggie Steed, Helena Bonham Carter, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Phoebe Dynevor, amongst many others. This series features quippy comedic writing such as agent Stella name dropping the notorious Jude Law as one of her favorite clients.
Composer Rael Jones‘ upbeat original score features some jazzy toe-tapping beats as well as vibrant, energetic salsa-inspired motifs.
Of the soundtrack, composer RAEL JONES commented, “I’m such a fan of the original French series, so it was a joy to be asked to write a soundtrack for this British re-imagining. It features fun, energetic music from me, using lots of Latin percussion, bass, guitars, piano, a string section and screeching trumpets. My biggest motivation was to put something joyful and kind into a world that is increasingly fractious, and I’ve taken influence from Latin music as it has the most infectious pizzazz of any music I know. Hopefully the overall effect is like a friendly voice inviting the listener to join in on this journey.”
