Sarah’s Key Music By Max Richter
Sarah’s Key is a French drama directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner starring Kristen Scott Thomas and follows the journalist’s present day investigation into the Vel’ d’Hiv Roundup, and a story of a young girl’s experiences during the Nazi occupation of France. It is an adaptation of the New York Times bestseller Elle s’appelait Sarah by Tatiana de Rosnay.
The emotional and beautiful score is composed by Max Richter (Waltz With Bashir). The soundtrack also includes several songs from the time period including the famous tune La Java Bleue. The music plays a central and emotional role in the film.
