My Life Directed By Nicolas Winding Refn Music By Cliff Martinez

When Nicolas Winding Refn was directing Only God Forgives in Bangkok, he brought his wife and two daughters along. His wife, Liv Corfixen, had enough of her hotel room, picked up a camera and decided to document the making-of of her husband film. The result is My Life Directed By Nicolas Winding Refn, a heartfelt and personal portrait of the acclaimed filmmaker and his working process.
Composer Cliff Martinez (who composed the music to Drive and Only God Forgives) wrote a beautifully simple electronic score for the film. The album also features the pop song Disconnected performed by Julian Winding, another family member in the Winding Refn creative clan.
