Marcher Sur L’eau (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Music By Uèle Lamore
Marcher Sur L’eau follows the story of 12-year-old Houlaye who lives in Tatise, Niger that travels miles to fetch water. The water-deprived village creates many struggles for the community until one day, construction of a well brings a sign of hope.
The soundtrack of this documentary that follows the very concrete effects of global warming on a village in Niger gives water a strong musical presence. In this delicate score, composer Uèle Lamore uses the sounds of water and sand to intertwine with the sounds of strings and wind.
