Betty Music By Aska Matsumiya

The crew is back! Created by Crystal Moselle and based on her 2018 film Skate Kitchen, Betty follows a diverse group of young women who navigate their lives through the male-dominated world of skateboarding in NYC!
The series stars Dede Lovelace, Moonbear, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, and Rachelle Vinberg, from Crystal Moselle’s original film Skate Kitchen.

Composer Aska Matsumiya is back on scoring duties for Season 2. The music is another exquisite mix of hip hop beats and electronic rhythms. Of the music Aska Matsumiya says: “Writing the music for Betty allowed me to be in touch with a side of myself that remains youthful and raw and spontaneous.  It was really so much fun and I tried to let that momentum carry the music.”

The season 2 of Betty is airing on HBO.
